Somehow, the description I scribbled on a slip of paper still hits the mark for me.

  1. Southern British Columbia, Canada: extremes. Last summer, extremely hot (for one week at the end of June). Fall and winter: extremely wet. Terrible flooding in some places. End of December: extremely cold for several days. Climate change is no longer theoretical.
