I dislike graffiti so much; makes everything look dirty. I try to see/find the art in it, still cannot. When I see graffiti the first word that comes to mind is gangs, not artists. It is colorful.

I often agree, but do recognize that it goes way back in antiquity. And some of it does have flair.
