PLAYING ROULETTE AT THE POLLS

Trying to define exactly where Donald J. Trump stands politically brings up a reminder of his hand in the casino business. The roulette wheel goes round and round before eventually landing somewhere.

Maybe somebody wins, but a lot more lose.

And the house always profits.

No wonder I’m getting dizzy!

Just what’s his game, anyway?

  1. I have the feeling one gets in a hospital waiting room while waiting for word on a potentially fatal accident. No…that isn’t wry humor! It was comforting thinking that DT was just a sideshow, but that idea faded months ago…I think the likes of Sarah Palin and those characters DT has spinning for him on the TV are just red herrings. The real danger of rule by oligarchy and state terror looms large… I know I sound like Chicken Little, but hey–the sky really may be falling!

    1. You should have seen the front-page editorial on the Union Leader yesterday morning, apologizing for its endorsement of Christie. Never, ever have I seen it repudiate a previous stand. But as it said, “Watching Christie kiss the Donald’s ring this weekend — and make excuses for the man Christie himself had said was unfit for the presidency — demonstrated how wrong we were.”
Maybe the so-called conservatives will have to face reality and test just how deep their own support proves to be — can it avert the real danger and disaster you perceive? Or do they, too, get knocked to the ground?

      1. I felt embarrassed watching Christie groveling…good lord, has the man NO backbone? The word “adoration” came to mind. sickening! at least Rubio has the guts to try making dumb jokes… so many think this is some kind of joke but it just scares the heck out of me in a way that the Bushes never did with all their bombs! These idiots with their Obama-hatred need to be banished from even making speeches… jeez!
