F*** U-TURNS

Next time you see one of those “No U Turns” signs on someone’s driveway, think about their side of the story and the audacity of some of the public.

We know an old farm in Maine that has a driveway connecting to both the busy highway in front of the house and a country road to the side. It gets plenty of “summer people” congestion at the traffic light, along with drivers who try to beat it by driving taking the driveway – or worse, just driving through the yard.

Recently, during a sudden storm, one SUV dodged in under the tree in the front yard to deflect hail, in the process mowing down hostas and other flowers before then backing hard into the parked pickup truck on the way out, and gunning it down the road.

Later, when one of the residents of the house was turning up the driveway from the side road, another car, crowded with tourists, came the other direction – and gave her the finger when she refused to back out so they could pull on through. Look, it’s her home, not theirs!

Their New York plates did nothing to soften the reputation.

  1. There isn’t much that can be done aobut this “cheating traffic”…except maybe build an enormous trap door that opens and swallows them up…boy woul they be mad then! It’s a shame some people are such fools!

    1. I agree it’s probably pretty annoying. And Muhahahaha take that stupid people who don’t understand patience. Hahahaha

  2. Hahahaha that’s awesome. People get really pissed when stuff like that happens. Just like the no dog poop in yard maybe the same thing happened to them but with poop as the main trouble. Think about it it seems pretty reasonable for not having a dog poop in their yard. Also, eww. Hahahah that’s awesome. Keep writing.

  3. Wow! people are assholes. I can attest to the lack of courtesy and respect for others with some of my fellow NY drivers. They are pretty much insane, selfish, self absorbed and idiots. I enjoyed my visit to VT this past summer and how people were respectful when driving. It was a nice change of pace. I get honked at for stopping at stop signs and slowing down in school zones. It’s maddening!
