Let’s add an element of reality to ‘legal fiction’

If corporations are defined as “persons,” as the Supreme Court has, how about mandatory retirement after 45 years of “employment”?

Can you even imagine such an event?

Who gets the cake, by the way? Or the pension?

  1. In Aotearoa New Zealand it’s illegal to discriminate on the basis of age including specifying a retirement age. There’s one exception: Judges have a mandatory retirement age of 70. Works for us 🙂
