They look fabulous! I’m Sicilian-American and we lose our freaking minds over tomato season!!! Heirloom tomatoes! I’m making myself a sandwich with your tomatoes in my mind right now!
Fresh basil is a world unto itself. It’s important to remember to nip the tops, though, before they can flower. We love feeding that part to our bunnies, who then have basil-breath when we pet them.

We grow our own basil. With it we always use Hellman’s olive oil mayonnaise!

Our basil died this week…too hot and too sunny here.
