who would doubt this mountain
bigger than clouds

or rain, fingers along the ground
pursuing
the cold breath

along those lean
flanks
remember, always
I’ve loved
as much as disintegrated or vanished

before she, who’s a member of no committee
runs off with me
smiling

O Holy One
are you jealous?

with thunder
blizzard
tornado or hurricane

before stillness, clearing
sun or moon
take their mysterious turn
