Strictly speaking, these are Poet’s Narcissus – (Narcissus poeticus). Are all Narcissus daffodils? (I just read your hot dog roll post so didn’t think you would mind a comment on semantics.)
Of course I love your comment! And I’d love a definitive ruling on the Narcissus/daffodil issue. No matter the outcome, we’ll welcome their glorious appearance each spring.
